Information About Catalogue Numbers

PMRstamps Catalogue Numbers (Abbreviated to Pst)

Commercial stamp catalogue publishers will not list PMR stamps, therefore this catalogue uses my own numbering system (Pst). However, the familiar Michel annotation system has been used (Block, Kb etc.).

Abbreviations Used in PMRstamps Catalogue Numbers :

A or B suffix If the letters "A" or "B" appear suffixed (after) the main number, this is used to distinguish two stamps of the same design (or same issue) with different characteristics, such as perforation, colour etc.
B prefix Used for PMR general bogus issues.
Block This refers to Souvenir Sheets and NOT to blocks of 4, 6 or otherwise. See also notes on "Kb" below.
E prefix Used for PMR Europa bogus issues.
E suffix If the letter "E" appears suffixed (after) the main number, this indicates that the item is an essay.
F suffix If the letter "F" appears suffixed (after) the main number, this indicates that the issue is a fake or forgery.
